VOTE in 2019

Your voice matters.

The right to vote in a democratically held election without fear of physical harm is a privilege for which all of our forefathers fought and died. It is indeed the most equalizing form of power in our society today. Vote for you, vote for your family, vote for your community.

Vote by Mail

Rockville is the first city in Maryland to adopt the mail-in voting system. This year, ballots will be mailed to all registered voters between October 6-12, so watch for your mail. Ballots may be returned by mail or in person at City Hall.

All ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.

Vote in Person

For those voting in person, there will be one voting center at City Hall open on election day, November 5, 2019, for in-person voting. The Board of Supervisors of Elections will keep the voting center open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on election day.
